David Brommer is an American born artist/ photographer who currently resides in New York City.

"I was made to communicate via images, visually I wish to encourage you to think beyond the bounds of your perceptions."

David Brommer specializes in counter culture photography, documenting alternative persons and lifestyles.

"The camera is my favorite tool for creating, it allows me to explore our world, and the people who reside on it. I prefer to photograph the edge of the human race, the freaks and pretty punks."

David Brommer studies fine art heavily, speaks Italian and frequently relies on renaissance pagan thematic art as inspiration.

"You really need to know where you came from to go further, I study past art and photography so I can apply its lessons for future photographs."

David Brommer fully utilizes new technology or old tech as a means to an end.

"Its the man behind the camera, not the camera that makes the image, My current trend to create is shoot with a 1950's rangefinder, then scan the image and use inkjet as output."
