1986-1987 David Brommer worked as a freelancer for Middlesex County Trends. During this period he also photographed local rock bands. David attended Middlesex Community College in the Marketing art and design program.

1987-1989 David Brommer worked for Lorstan Thomas Studios photographing highshool and college sports as well as shooting over 50 weddings.

1989-1991 David Brommer works for two prominent NJ camera retailers, managing Jersey camera and later working for Fishkin Bro's professional camera. Continues shooting bands, GoGo bars and in nightclubs.

1991-1997 David Brommer relocated to Seattle, Washington and operated "Suspect Photography" in Pioneer Square. A unique combination of studio and gallery he produced a large body of black and white work as well as hosting over 20 exhibitions.

1996 David is accepted into the COCA Northwest Annual with his piece, "Rubber Suit Man".

1997 David photographs his first book project, "Brommer's Book of the Dead- a ducu-fashion on the Gothic/Industrial/Fetish scene of Seattle" David realized his version of "the Last Supper" in conjunction with Fantasy Unlimited.

David returns to NYC and begins to produce color subculture/fetish images. His first website, www.cybersuspect.com is created.

1998 David joins the team at B&H photo in Manhattan.

1998 to present David continues to produce color and black and white work for counter culture magazines.

New responsibilities at B&H now include training the sales force in digital photography, and working in the marketing department as an outreach to professional photographers and student photographers.

2002 David becomes a faculty member of the Maine Photographic Workshops in conjunction with B&H.
